Mission	:	Om 00.37 uur steeg Douglas Boston W8281 "TH-?" van 418 Squadron op voor een aanval op Schiphol. Om 03.18 uur werd de Boston door Duits luchtafweer neergeschoten en crashte op het strand bij Camperduin. De gehele bemanning, bestaande uit piloot G.W.G. Harding, waarnemer/bommenrichter R.P. Shannon en radiotelegrafist/schutter R.G. Dusten kwam om het leven en werd in Bergen begraven.
